Mary has been trailblazing in the Shuffle community for the past 9 years. She has worked with major brands like Bang Energy, JBL, Dollskill, and Adobe as well as worked alongside artists Jaira Burns, Nostalgix, Marshmello, and Abilities. She has taught at some of the most well-known dance establishments in the world like Millenium Dance Complex and Nocturnal Festival.
Mary's style has inspired many and she has curated Gravity meticulously since it's opening in 2023 to earn it 5 stars across the board as an experience for all types of individuals looking to find their force in movement.

Where do I begin? I’ve been dreaming to start shuffling for 10 years and I couldn’t find a place where to start AND be consistent in practices. Gravity helped me get the foundation through Beginner Shuffler Class - we learned a ton of moves, glides, kicks, drilled them and put all into a choreo. On top of that, we prepped to improve our physical abilities to learn how to shuffle faster and in a healthy to your body way.
Aaaaand, and, Gravity has drop ins that you can take at your convenience to keep leveling up in the technique and choreo.
But most importantly, the community is such a gift! If you are thinking of joining a class, I guarantee you will love it! Just a disclaimer, you will be coming back more and more, so be ready, it’s addictive :)

We have the best instructors who are high-caliber shuffle dancers who travel the world. (Shuffle, Melbourne style, Cali style, Breakdancing shuffle, Hip Hop with Jaime and Saturday Brazilian dance pop ups ! (If it's important to hear, we have good times laughing with, too)!
Mary Grace and Brea's program/course and all classes for beginners are superb! Intermediate is fun after beginner's classes, if you are up for learning new styles/choreo to upbeat songs ! ;)

I would suggest quickly going to the App store & downloading the Gravity LA dance app now as it makes signing up quick & seamless! The first day I did not know how to do it, so I brought questions, an updated app store app and a charged phone, lol! Cheers
Love this place! Such a cool dance studio with all the extras! Ambient lights, great sound system and a waiting area. A true hidden gem for all things artistic! Great multi-media space for audio recording and video shoots, and the staff and owners were very helpful and accommodating. Will certainly be back!

Mary Grace is an incredible teacher and dancer. She radiates positivity and has so much passion for teaching. I absolutely loved taking classes here and would recommend everyone to take a class with her! Unfortunately, I’ve moved out of state and can no longer be there in person but trust me when I say you won’t regret signing up for a class!
s an experienced shuffler from overseas with a background in both taking and giving shuffle classes I entered this studio with certain expectations. Gravity Dance Studio has not only met but exceeded my expectations. The facility is beautifully equipped with long mirrors, great lighting, and an excellent floor. The classes and communication around them is fantastic, catering to all levels and taught by very skilled, warm-hearted, and funny teachers. Welcoming and supportive students add to the studio's incredible atmosphere. Gravity is more than just a dance studio—it's a vibrant community that fosters growth, creativity, and joy. Highly recommended for anyone passionate about dance!
